I am so different to everyone around me. I don't belong. No one wants to hear the depressive thoughts running through my head, and if they did, it's unlikely they will relate, or understand. It's sad that there are users who have similar struggles, but comforting to me because I feel less alone.

While I did chuckle at your post, I definitely think you have a good point. Like, during my pre-depression times, I thought people who wanted to CTB were just simply not thinking too clearly or something. With SS, I can talk to people who actually KNOW what its like to have the desire to exit, instead of talking to someone who has never experienced these thoughts and therefore has no idea what they are talking about. I am seeking professional help, but most doctors in that sector don't know our struggles first hand and follow some random medical textbook instead.

I can't talk about these things even with people I thought were my closest. I told one and she was so overwhelmed that she said "she can't do this right now." I don't blame her. Normal people can't take it. Most people don't really care. They want things gone, out of their sight, more than they want to solve it. I'm with them. I want to be gone, too.

I like it here. Can relate with most of the struggles you all go through. Most people avoid people like us because we are seen as trash. Tried places in the past like Reddit in the pace and can't stand the hivemind mentality that goes on there. Here on the other hand, we don't have to agree on everything that is said, but at least we can be mature enough to respect each others feelings and not shit talk each other to oblivion. We are all suffering in our terrible life and can be there for anyone that welcomes our input and/or friendship.
