Venting Desperate for a hug/comfort

Sometimes I do get a hug... when I meet a friend I haven't seen in a while, but I'd love to be hugged when I'm feeling really bad. That sort of long, comforting hug. Well, there are two problems... I don't have a person to do that and I'm usually uncomfortable with physical touch. I just want someone to hold me in their arms while I cry. I feel so weak and childish for wanting this, but I'd really like to experience it at least once, since I've never gotten that kind of comfort in my childhood. At least I don't recall my parents ever hugging me.. they rather got mad at me for crying.

Hey, I'm sorry that you don't have the sort of comfort available. I totally understand how you feel, the warmth of another and being chosen and held while you cry in their arms. It isn't childish to want that sort of contact with another human. It's human to want being held by another person. My parents got mad at me a ton too. So if you wanna talk about it more, then I'm here. A fellow hug enthusiast.
