I would think that drinking juices may slow the absorption rate of the SN since it could produce more acid.

They say not to drink juice or anything when taking it because it will change the pH of your stomach which will interfere with absorption of the SN. So, only water, unfortunately. Also, measuring cups are only used to measure volume. To measure weight, you would want a scale. I'm personally just going to tare the scale with a container on top, and then slowly put the SN in until it reaches 15 grams. I might go a little bit higher and go with 20 grams. Still undecided.

Where do you live? It doesn't need to be. I got all my materials within $50 for the sodium nitrite method. If you're planning to die and not be around you don't need a lot of material goods so it's easy to sell off anything you can. But this is in the US, it might be more expensive in other areas.

Also, how painful should I expect this method to be? Is there anything that could be compared to the pain? I'm a pussy when it comes to pain tbh. I just want to go unconscious quick.

It's not just money for me though. Privacy is really my main issue. If I were to buy somthing like a scale or antiemtics my family would get suspicious. If I was alone this method would be so much easier as with any other method.

@ancryxia , I'm sorry. Read through the threads and Nitschke's book. Be skeptical. I vaguely recall some things about both SN and SA. The latter would be more brutal and lethal, but if it doesn't work ... I'd expect at least some pain and nausea. Nitschke sometimes makes it seem like a hypnotic ... right...

Well the post says you should go unconscious around 30 minutes after taking it... pain for 30 mins doesn't seem too bad. I've had headaches and nausea before. I just don't know how bad the headaches or nausea will be, and that worries me. But it'll probably be fine I hope.

You can buy scales and hide them in a bag, they're pretty small. I bought mine the day I planned to CTB from the local target, it measures in grams and fit easily into a bag.

I don't know, I'll play by ear. Thanks for the advice though, truly appriciate it. As previously mentioned I'm not use to preparing or planning for anything this much. I'm generally more spontanous . For all this trouble this stuff better kill me .

This is a good call if you have a scale. I'm too cheap to buy a proper scale, however I'm gonna use 3 nickels which weighs 15 grams use some sort of balancing contraption and once the SN portion is heavier than the 3 nickels I should be good to go.

If the pain isn't excruciating I wouldn't mind. I just want to know if it's mild pain or really bad.

Pain does result, headaches specifically can be very bad. Seizures can occur as well, though from what I hear those tend to occur once unconscious. It's not a painless method but it is swift and ensures death, supposedly.

what would you compare the headaches to? that's the part I'm most worried about. I hate headaches. If they're not for long before I go unconscious I may be able to stand it but I need to know exactly how bad the headache pain is

Mixed 15g of SN in 60ml of water. I'm not sure how it's supposed to look but it's clear to the point you wouldn't even know it was in there. It dissolved easily. I also just took 4x75g of Ranitidine, 1000mg of Ibuprofen and 40mg Meto (Primperan). All I feel is very flushed at the moment with those.

Also, I tested meto yesterday, no side effects. I've fasted for 8 hours. I haven't done the anti-emetic 2 day regime. I just wanted to go ahead with it. I'm tired and I've had enough honestly.
