Accounts of people failing with SN are rare, but they do exist. A user here on the forum was discovered and saved after her hotel neighbors heard her vomiting and moving around violently - she didn't use antiemetics. Her obituary was posted a little while later. If I recall correctly, she was planning on making another attempt with SN.

Most people who announce their intent to attempt with SN don't return. Infer from that what you wish.

Didn't she made another attempt after. With anti e this time, and succeeded, if I remember well?

I opened my SN bottle 2-3 times to try to figure out the measurement. The bottle was never open longer than 10-15 minutes. Should I get a new bottle of SN? Or should using the SN at the bottom be okay? I don't want it to turn into sodium nitrate.

Is there a visible difference between sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate?
My SN that came in a bag is still powdered and white.

Yeah idk. Mine is in "Burnaby". It's at Vancouver. Hasn't moved yet. 3 days and half now. Worried too. Sigh.

I know this has been asked and ignored a lot already because "it's been answered already, look it up". But I've been spending the past two hours searching every page the top posted SN threads like this one, searching "http" for links used reliable SN, and all of them were either British, Australian, or out of stock. I'm pretty confused trying to figure out what to get. I know this is dumb, but some of us partly here because not smart. I'm the dumbest and shouldn't exist

Amazon. Paste the brand names into the search bar here and you'll find people discussing product quality etc.

I think a very high percentage of what anyone might conceive as a SN failure is actually them being found by a family member/friend, or other person and their own fear after injection and calling for help,

Consider how this method works. IMO, it does not seem likely.
Please also consider that this is Philip Nitschke's method, and while SN is toxic it has not been proven to be a reliable and peaceful method.

When mine arrived it said "for preserving salmon eggs."It indicates it is pure, but having that statement for "preservation of salmon eggs"on the bottlereally threw me

Just cannot fail. If I took it in an hr I'd have 5 he's before someone would find me. Crazy only 4, teaspoons could kill someone

Yes I did. Its still in the plastic bag and the seal on top looks intact.

Thats what makes me nervous. Is there any info about approximately how long it takes to pass? I know body weight will determine it but I have just seen some conflicting evidence about how long it takes to pass. Maybe there is something Im missing?

I bought mine in December and I haven't checked it yet. The person I got to know pretty fast here used like two tsps and that was it. She was very ill with med withdrawals and also not eating and I wonder if the not eating helped. I know she wasn't sleeping in the same room as her husband and probably had a 9 hr window at least of being checked on but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the anecdote. Seems pretty incredible that she was able to succeed with just the two tsps and nothing else. I wonder how painful her exit was.

Oh she did the Tagamet and the primperan..

She also did it at 9 pm. She was extremely determined.
