Story detective visit over SN purchase

hello all, it's been a while since i've been very active here. i've been doing pretty well at constantly distracting myself from the worst of the dark thoughts. i came back mostly to spread information that others might need. please read if you live in the US and have ordered SN from DMC at any point.

i recently had two detectives come to my house, they had my information and a list with other names and addresses and dates. i live in nyc, the card they left with me says NYPD detective, homeland security investigations TFO. they asked me about a purchase that was made under my name about a year ago, they seemed like they were trying to get more information about the seller. they asked what it was bought for and who it was bought from and other details like that. i couldn't provide them with any useful information. they offered services in the case that i was suffering from mental health issues, they seemed "concerned" for my life. i was told that two of the people on that list they came with had already used the SN and have passed, so it seems like the SN worked as it should for them. they also said that they believe there's a connection to a suicide assistance website and the seller. they had no warrant for anything, but i let them in because i knew i didn't have anything to worry about. we talked about what felt like 30-45 minutes, i assume they were hoping i'd have the SN and give it over to them. they kept repeating that i wasn't in any legal trouble and that they were just concerned for the safety of the people who bought it and wanted to stop the seller from doing more harm. after a while of not getting any of the answers they were looking for, they left and said i could contact them if something changed or if i remembered anything.

that's all i can really share, i don't want to give too much more information for my own safety. i'll answer any questions that i can. stay safe out there.

it's been known for some time that that particular seller had been compromised at one point. i assumed i would get a visit if i didn't get around to using the SN. seems it took a while, but here we are.

it made me nervous because i didn't know how much information they had. not enough for a warrant, clearly.

edit: i forgot to say that yes, i'm fine. i'm very good at stay calm and navigating human situations lol

Seems like there's a real concerted effort to stop him now considering all the countries taking action, I wonder which one is leading it.

don't make any rushed plans because of this. they couldn't provide a warrant. all they can do with the information that they have is ask questions. we have not broken any US laws.

doubt they've gone as far as to track my usage online, if they did they'd have a lot more on me. this site is well known and DMC has been connected to this site before by reporters trying to write their next hit piece. they already know DMC's full name and which country they're located in and how the payments are made. every single person who buys SN must be ready for that type of visit. if you're prepared, it's very quick and easy to talk through.

lots of coping, lots of errands and chores, staying as busy as humanly possible, staying around for my cats, new hobby after new hobby, new game after new game. hard to think about how i want to end it all if i'm always busy.

it was last week. i'd rather not say the exact date. almost a year after the purchase date they provided to me.

they did, said names and titles. had badges around their necks. gave me an official business card. they were 100% nyc cops.

evening time. they knocked very loudly a few times before i opened the door. i spoke with them because i wanted to know what it was about. i only let them inside once i knew it was about the SN because i knew i was going to be perfectly fine. i also didn't want my neighbors hearing the conversation. and they really didn't want to leave even after i couldn't give them any useful information, but they also had no legal reason to continue questioning me. they had no warrant and didn't ask to search, they request that i searched for them but i refused saying that i knew it wasn't in my home because i clean often.

probably not. amazon to me is not a very reliant option. a bit of a gamble but if you have the funds it's up to you. just know how to test the purity.

this makes me want to make my purchase incase that one person decides to stop selling

i also bought mine after one source's website had been taken down. if stored properly, the SN will last for a very long time.

I live with my boyfriend's family and if any cops come to the door asking for me, it's gonna be more than just awkward. I figure my best bet is to just deny ever receiving anything and playing dumb. they said the package shouldn't have made it's way past customs in florida. chances are they're just going through a list of people hoping that someone knows something. if you don't know anything, then you're not much help to them. but it is going to be hard to calm the nerves of those you live with. no they didn't mention. i'm assuming it was from customs. they couldn't tell me how it was purchased, so they aren't working with that much information. they didn't mention this website by name.
