It seems I'm going to CTB in a hotel. I have already called and it can be arranged for me not to be disturbed even during 48 hours.

My question is what is the maximum time is taken to die in a SN CTB. I thought four hours, but a member, very helpful and with a lot of knowledgenent said to me that even 48 hours.

I'd very interested in reading your opinion, since I need to plan.

Any source showing it took more than 4 hours with a lethal dose of 20g or close?

I don't know. I was told there are stats here at the forum, but I'm not able to find them.

I thought you were dead in 40 minutes

It mostly depends on your current health, metabolism, dosage and the guide you're following.

Even if you managed to find a case of someone dead after 4h, it's very likely because of current health problems and not SN, e.g. if the person had serious heart problems.

I don't understand. You're saying that the worst your health, the longer it will take you to die. That doesn't make sense imho.

I've never heard that it can take up to 48 hours. Sounds insane and very improbable to me. The only things I've heard is that it can take up to 40-45 minutes. With a loss of consciousness in like 15 mins if I remember right.

I meant if someone on the internet reports that a person's death took longer than 4h from SN poisoning, it's usually not the SN fault but other health problems. I don't remember reading about it taking that long, though.

I know it sounds confusing, can't find an easier way to explain :smiling:

Can you refrence this somewhere that it took 48 hours? I have never read this with SN maybe with Amitriptylline or phenobarbital but never with SN.

I spoke with my source again. Misunderstanding. He was talking about N, not SN.

Incorrect for both cases . N is 20 minutes (5 min passing out) , SN is usually 30-45 minutes (15 min pass out) . In rare cases SN can be 1h or bit more . In one case frail + metabolism and liver issues + morphine = took 2 to 3 hours (I think) and that is extremely rare .

You are "out of it" in 20 minutes. You are unconscious in 40 minutes. Two hours point of no return. Four hours is death. Of course this varies due to personal health and body.

I would've thought if you didn't pass out within about 20 mins and die within an hour or 2 then it hasn't worked.
