SN clumping

It's in a tub, I haven't opened it yet as i don't want it to go spoiled. I just received it yesterday I would assume it doesn't go bad just like that.

Nah, it can sustain a small degree of air.
If open it once it shouldn't immediatly become dysfunctional.
It's advisable to avoid opening it as less as you can.
But opening it once shouldn't do much.
But there are people here who can give you a more detailed answer than mine.

That same seller assured me that if i didn´t open the package it would last for 5 years. I don´t know if it really lasts that long but i m pretty sure that it wouldn´t get spoiled or degraded over such a small period of time.

Indeed it was suggested many times that members are over-anxious about SN durability. If it's tightly sealed with what would it react, even in 10 years? Cosmic vibes? Radio waves? ;)

Just keep it locked away in a airtight container far from dampand humid environments, place some dehumidifier bags near it and it should be golden.

I know the discussion of SN storage had been mentioned many times, however what I found odd was that mine is one solid rock not powered. It is in the original tub/bottle which it arrived in. It's been kept in a rucksack hidden in my cupboard with no direct exposure to the air. I haven't opened the bottle once, but the plastic is slightly see through.

I understand that some lumps are normal but one big rock. Probably means contamination. I guess I'll have to order more.

i bought my sn nearly 1 year ago from tht popular english company tht doesnt sell it anymore to individuals... mine , it contains anticaking agent so everytime i shake it, it feels fine.. like many users here im very paranoid/anxious about the state of my sn, especially for the fact tht my sn went through the hot temperatures of country during summer..

every company indicates a range of 15-25 °C for a proper storage , my room sometimes has reached 30 or so tht kinda worries me..
also many users say sn lasts forever if kept in cool ventilated area but the bottle of my sn has an expiry date written which is 2022 ..

I mean idk wht the point of my post is, but yea i m just not sure if sn is rly tht "strong" even if the bottle has nvr been opened..

these doubts make me wanna buy another one..
