The location and round would have to be considered

And what would the kind of round an location be to be successful? Or is a 12 gauge better to go with I haven't bought yet. But I want to keep price at $ 200 if possible

I'm not sure about where you'd want to shoot but most slugs and buckshot rounds would be more than enough.

Do you think you'd be able to overcome your SI and pull the trigger?

12 gauge 00 buckshot is the ideal combo.
I'm not sure about a $200 cost though, I will ASSUME, it would be 600 at max. Some used guns might be as low as 200.
Haven't really done any shopping considering shotguns though so do some research locally if you can.

Depends what n the country you live in. If you're in USA, you definitely can find something super cheap at a pawn shop. If you're in Canada you can probably won't find anything under $200 unless it's a single shot.
One thing I've never understood is the money issue. Is it not being able to get more funds? I'd just get a credit card and buy whatever you like. It's not like you have to pay it back.

Yeah that's the one that did it in for me, I remember this very well.
Nice 12 gauge KSG, probably around $1000 from reading his chats.
sorry, English is not my native language, but do I understand correctly that it was someone you knew?

Survival instinct.
Oh I was hoping the 12 gauge would eliminate that .

It seems okay to me.. 3 inch is about as big as they get for 12 gauge shells, just means a bigger load and / or more propellant so that's good, I've been looking into them too.
