We all know, generally speaking, how self-harm and suicide work.
In both cases, our survival instinct comes into play, which prevents us from hurting ourselves.
Of course the intensity of the SI varies, it is much higher during an attempt, but I was wondering if a self-harmer (so someone who is used to overcoming it) is helped.
