PSA regarding "Brick and Mortar" Source

hallo! I'm sure as many of you are well aware of the recent thread discussing this source going down due to hints becoming too obvious and concerns of getting the sources taken down. As a result, please do not discuss anything about the actual source itself, or ask about hints in this thread.

moving onto the main reason I made this thread, I believe me, and quite a few other sasu users are planning on using this source's SN to ctb. If you are, please dispose of the label on the packaging or change containers in order to not leak the source of the SN. its quite likely that if law enforcement are involved during someones ctb and they find this item, it gets it banned or more restricted for everyone.

thank you for the awesome PSA @mutsu!!!! i was thinking about saying a similar thing but i didn't want to sound like i was the spokesperson for B&M when i already mentioned that i asked for it to be taken down. hints about DSL constantly circulating on sasu lead to newbies, grieving loved ones, and authorities (the devil) finding the site within a matter of days. it doesn't matter that other people never found it or never ordered in the first place if it already became public knowledge. dsl was interviewed by the news and talked to by customs multiple times, but he was only able to keep selling for so long because he was overseas. i truly hope that people try to be more secretive about it so that it can be safer for everyone involved. i hope that moderation is able to crack down more on SN hint threads and comments because of sources becoming popular or spammed and because they don't actually bring anything to the forum lol

*this is unrelated but i wanted to bring it up because we're talking about the thread: i actually had the post muted for the longest time because i thought it was annoying how popular it was and the title sounded like a mr beast youtube video LOL. i automatically dismissed it and i think it's funny that i changed my tune when i actually put in the effort to read it and people were taking it seriously instead of calling it engagement bait. whenever i see a post with a lot of comments i kind of automatically assume it's controversial (twitter brain) or it's mostly newbies. another story is that one night, at 4 am US central time, there was a post written by a guy that was leaking dsl. and i was like "woah woah woah! you're not giving a dsl hint, you're just saying to type something in to find dsl immediately!". there were so many people looking at the post at the time. maybe 30. eventually the post got taken down 2 hours after it was up, but i sent a report ticket immediately after realizing the post was a sn source leak. i guess i'm nervous of people getting manic and trying to spread sn sources for "the greater good", when we're literally using it to commit suicide and it's not really good for it to be easily searchable information lol.

yeah theres a reason we try not to have sources just out there and easy to find, yes everyone deserves the right to end their life if they so wish to, however I think its also important to protect people who are genuinely impulsive,,, and of course to not get the sources taken down immediately as the site unfortunately has gained infamy
