Venting Posting this from inside the mental hospital

Hey guys, this is my 3rd day inside the psychward today.. Im worried about posting here because they may take my phone if they find out..
The day I came in, I found out one of my childhood friends has unadded me everywhere, so im a bit of a mess.
It's not too awful here, im being diagnosed with bpd.
Part of me just wants to get out now so I could ctb.. I would have been able to already if I wasn't taken here.. :(

Bpd is very manageable with therapy, meds, and dbt. I was diagnosed pretty early on, so I understand your struggle. Bpd can ruin a life, but i hope for you!!

Can you speak more on what meds/therapy helped you? Did you attend a DBT course?

Meds were just usual mood blockers similar to antidepressants. DBT was much longer and deeper. Individual one on one with someone, mostly with a bit of group activity, depending on the facility. Talking, meditation, mindfulness really. I cant remember most of my life at this point lol but I do remember it does help, even if it seems lackluster. Talking about your emotions and finding how to prevent your split comes in handy.

i guess with bpd you can't easily fake it till you make it.
usueally show wanted behavior for a few weeks and ya out.

they aint got capcity or time to really babyshit.
but with bpd it gets a bit harder for sure.
