Been to the psychiatrist told him I was over medicating myself and he was very understanding and let me stay at the dose I'm at, in fact prescribed me more of what chills me the most.

Got lots of good news, got a lot done, met wonderful people, dropped negative people and grew a lot personally.

Yesterday I spend few hours with my family, eat launch with them. Seems positive and refreshing.

Got my order of SN in yesterday which was great as I really needed it to come in before next week.

I guess that might not be considered good news to some but I'm sure there are some who can understand why it's a good thing.

Um... I started seeing a therapist who seems good. And I have people in my life who aren't afraid to say it like it is, just got told off a bit this morning but meh, them's the facts.

we are in 2021, Jan 16 and this week , I stopped benzos, and im fine... I have not smoked weed for two days and im fine... although I want to smoke, but I know, I'll be a dumb motherfucker in a couple hours.... and somehow, I stop daily exercise when I do smoke weed so ofter... so I dont want too, but I feel the need too...

I am deciding to find new goals this year.

Apparently all five seasons of the original Muppet Show are actually coming to Disney Plus in February 19th! Been waiting a while to see them all so this is exciting news to me.

I've never felt compelled to write anything in this thread before now.

Despite feeling lonely and down on myself, right now in this moment I'm feeling weirdly alright. I did the dishes. I had a shave. Work has been kind of okay actually. I even hung out with friends online.

Its nice to feel like I've got some good things going. I don't usually allow thoughts like these. I don't like patting myself on the back for 'doing well' because a big part of it is that I'm just lucky - I have a job and a roof over my head etc... I'm well aware that things could be much worse, and I like to think I'm grateful.

Trying to write about it is making the feeling go away lol. I'm glad I did though.

I went outside and got to pet a cat today. Probably the only good thing that will happen this week.

mine is : i should be a step closer to start my new job.... also sent my internet friend a package and I'm excited for them to open it

I've got out the house and walked loads this week as have put a step count app on my phone and it's probably the most positive thing I've done in months for myself. I get really agitated being indoors with loads of thoughts going round in my head so getting out certainly helps me, even if it is freezing outdoors. I have anxiety and still have to check no one is about in the street when I leave the house but once I'm out and away I know mentally it helps me loads :)

Got smashed and posted on the forum yesterday. Blacked out and woke up four hours later, no hangover despite not drinking water. Just ate a vegetable to compensate for the damage.

I cleaned my room I guess...I'm gonna see if I can go buy a chair this weekend so I can actually feel more comfortable playing games. Right now I always have my switch on my desk while I'm sitting on my bed which is horrible for my posture because I'm tall and my bed is also tall......

edit: oh yeah and I've apparently been in the forum for a year as of today which is pretty cool.

Finished sewing and hanging my new curtains last week and they are really nice! Decided to go ahead with the bedroom ones, too. Got the fabric of my dreams.

Picked up my new computer yesterday. A desk top! I am sick of small screens and crappy "keyboards". High speed internet to be installed in 12 days. Woo hoo!!

I got my DNA results back from 23andme. It says I'm 99.8% Chinese/Taiwanese which doesn't surprise me but the remaining 0.2% gives me hope because it says Central Asia but they couldn't pinpoint which region exactly. The Caucasus mountains are near that area so I choose to believe that it must mean I'm part white. It lines up with what I've heard from my mom which is that I have a Dutch ancestor on her side who was in Taiwan 400 years ago back when they were the only Europeans allowed in there.

I can't say exactly why it feels good to believe I'm part white. Must be the same excitement some white people get when they find out they're part Native American or something.

That sounds amazing, being able to custom make furniture is such a cozy hobby.

Oh no! Not furniture! I wish, though. The wood project is tearing down some shelves in the garage and boarding up a window on the inside so it doesn't show. It's a security thing. And finishing a wall that is just bare studs on the inside. I already placed the insulation. All in the garage. Nothing fancy. Plywood and 2X4's.

To me embroidery or sewing things is making furniture, curtains with your own flair and style, (in my case making a nice quilt).
