big storms can be scary! I saw in another post you said you dont have earplugs but just wadding up a little toilet paper and popping it in your ear (not deep! you're just trying to block out the background noise basically) as well as putting on something like white noise to try and blend the sound into a less scary background static has at least helped me in the past. I'm so sorry this storm is causing you such stress, thankfully with how weather works even if it feels like its going on forever the storm will pass, I hope you are able to find at least some calm in the meantime <3

I'm sorry to hear that the storm is making you anxious. Find a pleasant seat indoors, perhaps with a warm drink and a comfy blanket. Focus on relaxing activities such as listening to music, reading a book, or even meditating. Remember that storms pass and you are safe inside. Breathe deeply and remind yourself that this is nature's way of demonstrating its might, and it will pass shortly.

Did you ever have a nintendo DS? I remember playing nintendogs and mario kart with my brother. The theme song to both is so nostalgic for me, sometimes i go back to them and it reminds me of being a kid

Storms can be really scary, but the storm won't last forever, you're stronger than the storm :)

im indoors btw, just uhh please overload me with 2000's nostalgia please, mostly the emo and stuff like that
I can totally help you with some 2000s nostalgia since I love the same stuff. I like to use it as white noise sometimes.

2000s commercials
2000s theme songs
popular songs in media of the 2000s
and then slightly different videos talking about great 90s and 00s media
im more about like all the emo and such like stuff like that

i really loved mario party ds, my favorite board was the donkey kong one bs you were about to cheese it and gain the most stars, i think my max was like 7 or something.

Find something to ground yourself, a texture or temperature, something physical, like a cool tile floor. Ik how shit it feels to be on the edge of passing out but you got this.

Few months ago, without a warning, an insanely loud and chilling sounding thunderclap shock me to the core, and for a moment, i thought the apocalypse had began. Yikes!

I feel you. Going through storms just makes everything feel worse.

Sometimes I like the sounds of a storm, its can be peaceful when it is mild or when its too quiet
