Just curious what others are going to do with their pets, and I also wouldn't mind any ideas on keeping them safe and sound as possible until I'm discovered.

The current plan for me (if it works) means I'll be found after maybe 12-ish hours, so I'm going to keep them all cosy with food, water, toys and pee pads. They'll probably potty indoors but apart from that should be fine. I've decided to leave them with family but fuck, even though I'll be dead I think I'm going to really miss them.

Also PSA: don't be specific about what pets you have so you can't be identified :)

I live with family so i just hope they take care of my dogs for me. If i had no one i would ask a friend to take care of my dog, if that doesn't work i would try to give them to someone i trust. I really feel bad for my animals so i would try to find them a home at least.

I live with my family so I'm hoping they take care of my guinea pigs. I've written information down so they know what to do, what to get etc. I also wrote what to do if they don't want to keep them.

One of my kids and his wife will make sure they are taken care of, even if that means euthanizing them if they cannot take them on. (We are all pet lovers. They have several rescued pets. I have several rescued pets. Given my childhood, I am VERY cognizant of what happens to unwanted/rehomed pets and I would MUCH prefer my pets be put down than suffer any more than they did before they came to live with me.)

I'm honestly not too sure, ive cut off contact with anyone that would take her. I may send a timed message to someone 24 hr after SN.

She's a sweet cat and deserves a shot at life, a shot she wouldn't have had if I didn't rescue her. But she's better off without someone who has other cats.

My parents are going to take care of them. I know they'd never let anything ever happen to my babies. I'm very grateful for that.

To wait until they're dead, shouldn't be too long now in my case.

I'd leave the cat with my parents and rehome the rest, no way I'm letting them stay in the same space as the dead body of their owner

Good lord, now you ask. I got a lovely little boy, he's a Galgo he'd cry his heart out, if I died. My cat not so much, I guess my carer would look after them, at least I hope so x

As I live with my parents, they will take care of my dog and they already do some things for him already such as doing some of his walks and other things but I know my dog will still miss me as I am his favorite person. If I am able to ctb somehow I would want to it were my doggy can't see it as I don't want to traumatize him.

I honestly don't know. My pup is one of the reasons I haven't ctb yet. She's a sweet dog and I'm sure my husband and family would take care of her, but I know she'd miss me terribly.
