I actually wrote about something similar in a separate thread earlier, where I mentioned that one of my friends who is a chemist had brought up Potassium Nitrite, as an alternative to Sodium Nitrite. Very interesting indeed, but apparently can have more discomforting side effects, albeit while being significantly more effective.

Yea, unfortunately it seems it's only efficacious here via IV. Median lethal dose (LD50) for oral is 2.5g/kg, IV its 57-67~ mg/kg. Apparently it needs to be administered slowly, to give it time for it's primary effect to accumulate. Probably goes doubly due to the size of the dose (solubility is 34.7g/100mL at 20*c). For example, you'd need roughly 12.5ml of fluid for 4.4 grams of PC, calculated based on a bodyweight of 66kg at the LD50, if you were to IV.

It's mechanism of action re: death is much more different than SN, it basically suppresses your muscular function, leading to body paralysis and eventual cardiac arrest, rather than oxygen deprivation. I can't imagine it's great, they get a lot of criticism for its use in lethal injection as it's seen as inhumane (not a pretty sight, even if they're not conscious or cognizant). Allegedly it's quite painful :v Lethal injection recipients are usually comatose, so if you choose this way, you'd probably want to ensure complete suppression of consciousness, basically anesthetizing yourself. I'd also go above the LD50, just in case it's not enough. It would be quite an elaborate setup, doubly so for execution.

I read that KCl injection is very painful, like being on fire or electricuted. USA uses it for lethal injections in prisons but they give the inmate a barbiturate then a muscle relaxer before hand. But Im no expert...

Edit: Deltap beat me to it

I found this ;

LD 50 of orally ingested potassium chloride is approximately 2.5 g/kg, or 190 grams (6.7 oz) for a body mass of 75 kilograms (165 lb). In comparison, the LD 50 of sodium chloride (table salt) is 3.75 g/kg.

I don't know how to shoot myself , never injected hard drug , i prefer eating something
