Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm genuinely curious to know if anyone has tried overdosing on blood pressure medication (calcium channel blockers or beta blockers) or its chances of it being successful?

Wouldn't recommend overdosing at all.

Errm... 3 different AIs tell me 50 mg of calcium blocker BP meds is a near fatal dose. What is the group's experience, if any?

3 different AIs isn't a source, especially not for method information.

In the last week I've had 2 patients come in for propanolol OD, though they took other drugs too (not sure what). Both came in with seizures, GCS 3. As far as I know both are still alive with potentially lifelong complications. Take with that what you will.

yes it can be fatal given enough dosage, however not much cases are revealed in the public as they are afraid many will follow .

It can be very painful for certain medications or not able to achieve yr objective if the dosage is within your tolerance. Also, you may suffered from certain medical consequences like organ failures if you are revived from the attempt.

I have been on blood pressure med for at least 20 years now.

The one aspect to think of is that there would be a huge issue with brain damage that one might have to live with for the rest of one's life.

Please forget about it, bad idea.

I've heard it's very difficult to OD on BP meds. Just read a story on Reddit where someone swallowed a whole handful of propranolol and was fine, barely felt it.
