I love Tom Waits gravely voice and sense of fun, and the video & song speaks for itself.

An elephant gives bad advice and an untrue prediction that was then spread to all the other animals and changed their behavior. -Don't want to spoil the end of the story, but I love the entire song and the animation someone made for it.

"The child is grown, the dream has gone...I have become comfortably numb" Comfortably Numb: Another favourite by Pink Floyd. That second guitar solo...there are no words to describe it.


The only time I'm easy's when I'm killed by death..."Killed by Death: Couldn't forget a song by the legend that was Lemmy and Motörhead.

There are so many I could post. Music is something I will really miss when I depart; a universal language that speaks to people from all walks of life.

He was there from the beginning, right? Think he was like 16/17 when this came out (one of the first Pantera songs I heard...and very different to their later stuff with Phil on vocals that's for sure).

Has somebody already discussed this song? I find it very sad and evocative. I remember liking this song when I was in high school. The narrator of the song almost seems to be about to ctb:
