Wrote this when I was 22, way before internet, ProTools and what have you. Fond memories of piecing this odd trip together, on tape - quite literally in my spare bedroom. Simply for my own enjoyment and "mental wellbeing" - well, kind of... Doing music kept me (somewhat) sane... As for the "genre" - always had an eclectic taste in music, but what I did was mostly rooted in metal, I guess. So probably not to everyone's taste - my sincere apologies :)

Call me a weeb LOL, I heard this song in an episode of Samurai Champloo, but this song always to me sounds like grief feels. The unique singing voice with the strange rise and fall of her words, I feel like I'm listening to a woman who has seen so much pain and is trying to communicate what beauty she has found living through it.
