4 years ago I tried to freeze to death in the winter forest. Before I came to the painful realisation the next day that it wasn't working at all, it was actually the most beautiful night of my life, I felt cold outside but so warm inside, as if finally coming home. It felt like such a beautiful, fitting way to go.

I just thought to share some of the sad-bitter-sweet soundtrack in my ears on that night.

Not really into black metal these days anymore (used to be in my teenage years), but I discovered this earlier this year and it's sublime.

Dark ambient helps me disassociate and find solace when the outside world is tearing me apart. It's soothing, as if I'm in a safe place now, at home. I wonder if that's how other people feel when they're listening to relaxation music with waves and pan flutes and whatever.
