I'm on 300mg of wellbutrin (bupropion) daily, and when I took 30mg of metoclopramide on an empty stomach I started experiencing severe akathisia. Do I have to stop my antidepressant in order to take metoclopramide with SN?
No, I couldn't stop it but I was able to put up with it after taking propranolol and alprazolam. Why should I avoid meto? What other antiemetic could I take?
You should research extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS) and metoclopramide. In rare cases a person can get EPS from a single dose of meto. Akathisia is an extrapyramidal symptom.
