  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Sorry if this has been asked before, closest I found here was a post three quarters in Russian by a self-harmer with a far higher pain tolerance than me anyway.

I'm able to put a cannula needle in my arm, medium guage needle. Would I be able to bleed out using that?

I guess there are at least two problems: clotting in the cannula, and the vein drying up? I remember reading about the first issue on Google by someone who attached a vacuum pump! (And failed to CTB), but the second I infer from knowing drug addicts destroy their veins, and it's also probably a protective mechanism for the body to shut down a vein that's hemorrhaging? Maybe there are other difficulties too?

God damn the human body for being so frikkin resilient.
Thanks

I don't think there is a painless way to bleed out unless you are using some kind of anaesthetic or if you paralyze yourself

I just don't think vein bleeding works, I have tried but eventually like you said the vein does clot off, the worst that happened was another traumatic trip to the hospital and a blood transfusion, but I was no way close to death. Sorry if this disappoints and it's only my experience, but it is difficult. Sorry your feeling in this position as well x

The cannula will clot. Faster than you would think, too. I have tried.
