Gave it a few test runs (just tensioning with my hands, not tying the second knot) and got pretty close to passing out a few times (didn't faint as i'd always lose strength in my arms before passing out) with no head explody feelings. I have a pretty fat neck so it's definitely possible for thick necks if your arteries are playing game.

This'll probably end up being my method due to ease of access.

edit; If you do experiment you'll have a very strange sounding voice for a few hours afterwards especially if your experiments are particularly rough/tight so make sure to have a good alibi if anyone asks. I tested on and off for a few hours and it's taken any gravel/deepness out of my noise and left it very airy and light.

Dumb question, but does anyone know what type of shoelace or ligature should be used/is best to use? I made a post/thread asking that and showing pics of different shoelaces styles. Or are there better ligatures to use, especially if you're also incorporating swd after passing out from this method?
