i rarely leave the house anymore but I had several appointments today where I needed to communicate/ talk and I lost control of my tears and couldn't stop crying. Felt like i was chocking the whole day trying to hold back tears and ultimately failing.

What do you do when you feel like you are minutes away from a breakdown in public? Anytime I start to talk I ultimately just start chokining and crying like an idiot

Maybe talking with someone would help to distract You, or doing some stuff

I find the nearest bathroom and just pretend to need to use it for a long time, have the emotional breakdown there, and then return and pretend to be normal.

It doesn't always work, but some of the time it does.

I'd find excuse to go to some place private away from the overwhelming surrounding around me, or usually I'd go without excuse or explanation since I feel I don't have to

crying like an idiot
...or maybe just crying like a person whose heart is way to heavy to hold tears back?
Is it just me or there's excessive amount of stigma associated with these little droplets?

Crying is one of many emotional responses that makes us human, and you shouldn't feel ashamed of it.

Sorry you felt so overwhelmed that you broke down in public; try taking some deep breaths next time 🫂

It's perfectly normal 🥰 I just hope someone noticed you and grabbed you and gave you a big hug! Next time you feel like this, just sneak to the nearest quiet place and let it out, fix yourself up and keep going! I've done this several times, even at work. It's definitely hard to keep a poker face when inside your in turmoil. I hope today is better for you❤️❤️❤️

I walk away from the situation and put on large sunglasses. When I was younger I left an appointment and a meeting when I knew it was going to happen and I couldn't stop it.
