Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My method of choice is shallow water drowning, but I'm having trouble with the hyperventilating. I'm not good at holding my breath and it's probably even harder with the SI. If that doesn't work for me, what other ways do I have of losing consciousness? I've tried night-night butI can't seem to find my arteries.

Edit: For the record, I'm not going to ctb tonight, this is in preparation

Shallow water drowning is a big no no for me as it's just way too hard to get rid of my SI and likely i won't succeed. Night night can be tricky but if done right seems like a decent way to pass. I don't know about your situation but co2 could also work. Hooe you find the peace you deserve good luck <3.

Please don't spread false information. CO2 will never ever work because this is a gas a human can sense easily and SI will kick in and drive you crazy! What you mean is CO = carbon monoxide. This is lethal and no SI will kick in.

Maybe it'll be painful, im not sure, but it won't matter. Commitment is my only issue and if I can pass out then I'll have the hard part over with. The pain is for unconscious me to deal with, the SI is for conscious me to conquer.

Right to die organizations recommend helium and end bags due to their reliable painlessness and accessibility (helium can be bought, end bags bought or DIYd).

From a quick comparison with my own research, I can't really trust what I'm seeing in this thread and https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/suicide-resource-compilation.3/.
So if you wanna try other methods, research their painlessness and safety from peer reviewed (medical) research (the latter sources show up without effort for me but if you're not seeing them, maybe try adding "journal" or "medical" to the search or using Google Scholar).
Generally even a quick search and glance will save you agony and failure.

Regardless of method, research how to do it right, how to approach it best.
I'm not sure but I think preventing "too injured to try again" may apply to the helium and bag approach too - that if there's a failure far enough into the process it can result in brain damage (but I don't know detailed instructions so I can't personally say if it's really possible. Best to err on the safe side, so - research.)

I wish you well, man!
