Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone else find themselves always seeking out solitude, to the point that you're searching for the loneliest places you can find?

This is literally all I seem to do now. I even feel a bit bad for my dog, because I'm dragging him to some strange desolate places just to go for his walks. Although, I think he pretty much just enjoys being with me outdoors…

It's strange… I deliberately seek these places out (and even research places of interest on google maps)… but then I keep thinking about what a weird anti-social person I am and how I must be some alien type of character. I keep telling myself I should behave more like a "normal" person… but I can't…

For example: I recently camped out in some strange basement/cellar of a ruined house that's buried deep in a forest. The creepier something is, the more I'm drawn to it. If something is forgotten or abandoned or nobody goes there, I somehow end up in that place. Like there's a magnet drawing me in or something.

I'm not surprised I have no friends… even I wouldn't befriend me… 😂

The first thing that came to my mind where the old stories about north american natives (indians not the ones from india lol) who climbed a mountain to die when they were getting old. Not sure if that's just a myth or reality. Sounds metal as fuck IMHO.

I watch a lot of videos of people who explore lonely forgotten places but my fear of injury and pain keeps me from doing it myself but i totally get why it's interesting.

Also i am certain your dog loves it. He (or she) can pee in places no other dog peed before. :)

Relatively normal. We want to see ourselves reflected in the art around us and architecture is a kind of art too.

Always wanted to do that kinda thing myself but it's all parking lots all the way down where I live....

EDIT: Just make sure you and your dog don't interact with any water in these places, can contain diseases, especially if the water is still (not running).
