1. Big one upfront because I'm extra excited about it. I decided to reach out to my brother and childhood best friend, and things went really well. It was wonderful getting to talk to the both of them, and we've made arrangements so that it'll be easier for them to keep in more frequent touch/keep an eye on how things are going on my end of things. Feels good to know that I'm so loved...
2. Made some definite, short term plans to have some fun with my childhood best friend, and setting up the groundwork for some longer term hanging out- play by post style. Turns out he's gotten really into Mouthwashing too, and he's excited to finally be able to write in a franchise where he has some context for the setting, as opposed to him rolling with the punches when I've dredged up random settings or other more obscure franchises into our writing together. He hasn't written in a while, since he's been busy and is the kind of guy to keep quietly to himself, so he's also eager to play together, which makes me happy, since it doesn't feel like I'm just being humoured along like has been the case with some groups in the past.
3. He also wants to set up a more abstract/ in the longer term time to sit down and properly celebrate my graduation, since I never really got around to doing so properly- and it would be really lovely to be able to do so with the people that I love and care for- we're thinking of having movie night with the (it'll be four of us, when my ex-boyfriend finally swings around) and just talking, which is a perfectly cozy scenario for me.
