Liquid nitrogen

Anyone here that might have knowledge on the vialbility of liquid nitrogen as a potential method?

Liquid nitrogen should have a similar method to the CO method since the nitrogen will "push" out the air as it warms up so I was thinking that it might be a convenient method.

I've seen some mention here before but I haven't known anyone going through with it. But it sure does intrigue me this method being a tad more creative than the usual methods.

Something to consider is that Co is poisonous were nitrogen is not, so to use liquid nitrogen in the same space as Co would require quite a lot to first push out the air inside then keeping the oxygen level below 2% until you ctb. The bigger the space the more difficult is it to pull off with nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen expands around 700 times per liter so depending on the size of enclosure your aiming for would dictate the amount.

Unlike CO you don't really have to deal with the heat and smoke from the usual methods with coal. The downside is you still have to wait until the oxygen level is low enough to you to become unconscious, which I'm not quite sure how long that is with liquid nitrogen.

It's one of those methods that are best kept bespoke and secretive because it's definitely one of the most effective ones and the last thing we need is LN2 to become regulated. But yes, if you spill a Dewar in a confined space you will peacefully pass out in a few breaths or two.
