Had the same idea, I was a nurse and had access to fentanyl etc. But you have to be quick with that kind of stuff since it's controlled very well and people will notice something missing perhaps even within the day. (depending in which country you live maybe, how strict the protocol is)
Also a lot of effort hahaha!

If you're wanting to do it in hopes of getting Pentobarbital, I wouldn't count on it. I've heard before that due to the shortage of N, some vets are having to resort to using other drugs to put animals to sleep.

possibly related to the covid pandemic, there's a chemical shortage of pentobarbital which makes most euthenasia products (for animals) but nobody is sure
