When opened, Sodium Nitrite becomes Sodium Nitrate in open air, because it... oxidises maybe? Isn't there still some oxygen in water, so it would change into another substance? I don't know though.
There's likely oxygen in the bottle too... I wouldn't risk it.... Also I'm pretty sure salts dissociate in water not suspend
Edit just looked at the chemical structures and it seems like a very simple reaction to convert it... One of the structures is more stable but I forgot which one ... will ask my peers later if I see them lol

Well, here's my miracle. Ignorance. I guess I'm going to have to throw the bottle out. I had almost 100g of SN, I guess I'll have to mix it fresh if I ever do this.

Nothing is 100%. But it seems like it's a pretty lethal method.
Peaceful Pill gives is a 6 out of 10 (6/10) for reliability. This leave a 40% chance of failure. If there is failure, could there not be brain damage or other serious injuries resulting from the poison?

Yeah, I think most of the people here would be lying if they told you there were no risks. It's "anectdotal evidence", but there are a few people on this forum that claim to have taken SN and survived after they were hospitalized. I think there is some evidence of this in online articles you can find too. You honestly have no clue how it will affect you though.

I have never heard (with minimum evidence) of someone who drank two bottles of N and survived.

one member once wrote in one of my posts. Jupiter, he passed away by catching the bus

I'll be the first one to start the conspiracy theory that @dandan is the mysterious "A".

Hahahaaa.... Just kidding. Just kidding.

Speaking of N though, you know... I haven't heard many examples of someone drinking N and dying. Has anyone else? We only hear bits of rumor and put most of our faith in it being true because it says so in the Peaceful Pill handbook.

That's kind of like me believing in bigfoot because other people seem to think he exists and they talked about it once on National Geographic.

I think those that have passed should be allowed to rest in peace, nothing is to be gained by revisiting their past on here. Many did not want their information to be made available and just wanted to leave with some dignity.

I agree but why are you listing those who passed and their methods?

At a small dose N doesn't kill you. It'll put you to sleep. Many uses of N were done as a sleep aid. That was what N was originally intended for until a) people noticed that it was lethal when you overdose and b) it was a peaceful method of euthanizing. There's a couple numbers you can gather. Over 30% of the suicides by drug use in the UK in 1968 were done through barbiturates. Google Scholar has some interesting papers that date in the 1950s and 1960s of cases of people killing themselves with N. Primarily the method of choice was using tablets.

Journalists are generally reluctant on telling the method of how someone killed themselves. Death certificates are generally not online either due to privacy concerns. So it's a bit harder (unless you have resources) to find someone's toxicology report on how they died.

How do you mean? I might have it wrong but you have been posting info of people passing like obituary and news reports in the user threads for a long time. Shouldn't you respect the dead as you said and leave them to rest in peace?

Peaceful Pill rates SN at 6/10 on reliability. Whereas azide is 8/10 and cyanide 9/10 (or 10/10). Doesn't this concern people considering SN as there can be long term problems if it is unsuccessful?

You got a bone to pick wae me? When was the last time I did that? Not for a long time! Beginning to think you're an alt of of someone from reddit.

You seem to have been doing a bit of digging yourself regarding me considering you've not long joined here.

I'm sure @Johnnythefox can defend himself, but from what I know of him, he posts obituaries of those whose deaths are unconfirmed and could just be cons for all we know. Those who have left in a "suspicious" manner.

I certainly haven't seen him disrespect the dead. Searching for an obituary to confirm someone is indeed dead and not just faking their death is not disrespecting the dead.

I have no issue with you, just what you wrote. On the one hand, you tell others to leave the dead in peace which I agree, on the other, you post obituaries/newsreports and discuss their methods. Can you tell me who i am on Reddit? I havean account there but hardly use it now as I don't feel connected with normal people now that I am near my death.

If the information is available online and publicly, it isn't a disrespect to the person who caught the bus. I don't get why said person thinks it is insulting. In most circumstances you normally have a choice whether to disclose the death of someone online to memorize them. At least I've always heard that choice available when people have past in my family.

Living people create obituaries and cemeteries precisely because they respect the dead. That's why people want to view them. I think there's some wrong assumptions being made here that discussing people who have passed is wrong somehow simply because they chose to CTB.

We learn from the methods of those who have ctb successfully. What they did that resulted in death. Our responsibility is to do this in a polite and respectful manner.

Listen, I don't spend much time on this place now and I no longer post obituaries etc, seen as you're digging about, you tell me the last time that was?
And FYI, I might have posted in the past, but that was to silence the doubters and inform those who had formed a connection with those people.
You're extremely knowledgeable considering you're not long on here, been on before have you?

Yes, I agree, unfortunately you will see stuff like so and so " passed suddenly" in obituaries with no mention of ctb as it is stigmatic and causes extra grief to the loved ones. This is why I think discussing how users ctb etc should be avoided. When I die, I certainly wouldn't want discussing how I kill myself.

SN is rated 6/10 for reliability on Peaceful Pill. Azide and cyanide are rated higher as is N and Nitrogen. I wish SN was rated higher as I'm concerned about failure and lasting physical damages (brain damage or other)

I wouldn't have any issues with people knowing how it happened. That's what almost every post I make on here is about, I'm talking about it enough now, speculating about different methods, etc... so it wouldn't bother me if someone knew after the fact.

I guess I am in the minority, after I die, the last thing I want is for my loved ones to find out about this site and revisit the details of my ctb.

@Jessica- The few examples we have of connecting people to their obituaries only happened because THEY chose to tell others how to search for their obituaries after the fact. You don't have to disclose your identity. That's a whole different issue. If you wanted to stay private, you should be allowed to stay private. Not everyone sees CTB in a shameful light though.

I see, I apologize again. But I feel very ashamed and guilty to ctb and don't want anyone IRL to find out. I have thought endlessly of a method that looks like an accident to spare my loved ones and me of the shame/ guilt associated with ctb

Well, I'm here. I don't want other people shaming me. But I get it. Honestly, sometimes it feels a little bit like I've already died and somehow Suicide Sanction was a direct portal into purgatory. This is probably what it would look like. One huge dysfunctional family gathering where we all hang out and swap suicide recipes.
