Is pregabalin a benzo? OD researching

I'm wondering if Pregabalin is a benzo or counts as one? I know it works on GABA receptors similar to benzos.

I got a month to do as much research as I can.... also hello forum. Another mentally ill 30 year old male who doesn't wanna be here and euthenasia isn't profitable so here trying to do it myself. suuuuup.

But yes it will act somewhat similar to benzos in that it has an anti-anxiety, relaxing, and sedative effect as it binds to the same relative receptors (it just has different binding affinities for certain GABA subreceptors if we want to get technical)

Benzos would be ideal but pregabalin will work too for this effect.
