Is it possible? Yes. There are known cases when people died choking on food or other things.
Is it reliable? Not really.
You might find this post (and whole thread in general) useful:
I've had food get stuck halfway down my chest. Although I could still breathe and was not actively choking, after 10 minutes of constant swallowing and drinking small sips of water, it finally went down. It was painful and not a pleasant feeling.

I think that dying on choking to food is the most terrible way to go, it's easy to choke by being distracted and it's so fucking common to choke especially on meat or fish and it's not only terrible but in some cases painful i hope that if i will remain alive by SN to not face the consequences of having eating function damaged by brain damage because it will transform my life to being a calm one to being an hell and because eating can be difficult sometimes that is just something that i couldn't manage to have, if it happens i think i should constantly need food transfusion or atleast to have liquid food.
