That's not my place ( or anyone's ) to tell you to off yourself. Your body, your choice. Lately I've been getting drunk and high af,. But it helps me to forget (mostly) about suicide thankfully.

Since you are uncertain I would wait- this is such a big decision that you need to be clear-minded and sure this is what you want to do. It is best to explore options for recovery and to be sure of this decision over a period of time. Also, if you have family and friends who care it is worth it to think about whether they can help, and to reach out to them if you think they could possibly help.

Did you feel like you wanted to take your own life before you got drunk? Also another thing to consider is what method you want to use to take your own life. I'd be careful trying to do certain methods while drunk. Impaired senses could cause you to fail your method and you'll likely end up in a worse position.

Don't fancy your chances at being successful trying to ctb while drunk. You really don't want something going horribly wrong & ending up in a much worse position.

Sober imo, I drank often these recent years and I NEVER said to myself, damn glad I did that when I was shitfaced rather than thinking Abt it.
Also I quit drinking some days ago to prepare my own ctb. I'm enough of a fool sober, and that isn't how I rather be remembered.

If i do attempt ctb i always do it on impulse. I dont plan these things ahead. I always want to die but if i am actively want to commit suicide i always do it on impulse, the thing is that i should have something on hand that works fast.

Probably the only suicide method I can see being incredibly difficult to mess up while drunk is jumping. Just make sure wherever you plan on jumping from is definitely high enough to end your life. I'd only do it if it was at least 100+ metres (or 330 feet).

I haven't gotten very drunk that many times, so I have no idea how it affects your judgment on measuring height.

When I originally planned on jumping I also planned on getting drunk beforehand if in case SI kicks in. In the end I never went through with either, so I can't really recommend this method.
