i have one of the most important exams of my life on june 1st and i still haven't properly started studying. it's stressing me out so much because i KNOW how important it is, but every time i try to start, i just… can't. i keep procrastinating and telling myself "i'll do it later" and then the whole day passes again.

i have SO much to study and i've been putting it off for so long that now it feels impossible to even begin. it's such a weird feeling because i want to study so badly but my body literally won't move. i'm terrified of failing and disappointing myself. Please help, how do i make myself start studying for this??

I don't know, maybe this is a silly idea but maybe it could help you. Imagine... those study papers or books are not yours, they belong to an imaginary friend. Your friend is the one studying, and wants to show you what they're studying. So, have a look at these subjects your friend is studying, just out of interest, and to see if you could imagine studying this yourself. Are you interested in what is written there? Then maybe you'd like to read a little more... this way you could perhaps ease into it. Just seeing it as something interesting you're curious about, instead of some crushing obligation. It's just for fun... I hope this helps.

While it's obviously unpleasant to do- really picture the consequences of failing this exam and try to frighten yourself into doing it.

Set up a reward for yourself for having studied for a certain period.

Maybe go somewhere- like the library- to study. Somewhere it will be obvious if you start procrastinating.
