I'm proud that I never made wrong decisions about my life, I did everything I was supposed to do. Now I'm just tired of playing by the rules and getting nothing that I deserve.

I think I am all those things too. I'm definitely ungrateful, because I don't find life great...well, life grates on me..lol. Another thing, I want to be perfect, but maybe Ive gotten to where I'm so tired feeling this low boiling anger against the system. That I tried to minimise the stress I caused my family when I was seriously mentally ill (schizophrenic for 7 years), I was able to realise stressing them wasn't good although it must not have been nice for them to see me decline but I didn't moan about my symptoms much to anyone.
That I changed as a person for the better, shame it took my life going completely off the rails to realise my failings and mistakes.
That I gave my dog a good life and home.

Proud I never went to jail. Proud I did a hell of a lot of drugs and never took an opiate. I'm in my forties and my only real achievements are getting my drivers license and my GED.

I'm proud of my late dog, Simppa. She was extremely friendly to everyone, very playful, happy and comforted me every time I was feeling down. This may sound odd, but I had the feeling that she always knew my emotions, and acted accordingly.
She died last December, and it's been really difficult without her.
She meant the world to me.

I'm proud that I don't have any children because I'm aware they deserve better.
I'm proud that when I die, at least I stayed true to myself.
I'm proud that I've given my best shot.I will be proud that I tried very hard to find a solution to my mental illness. Proud that along the years I learned to be a more mature person and to be more in peace with myself.

I've been a depressed/anxious introvert but I managed to join and stay in a club at school that does public speaking related competitions in schools in my state (even got third place in my category one year.) Granted this was a decade ago. I'm not sure that I'm proud in the normal sense. Some say it takes courage but it's not a matter of guts but more just not giving a fuck what people think. It may have helped that I'm visually impaired and can't see expressions well at a distance.I would be proud that I treated others with kindness and empathy.

I'm proud that despite the amount of shit life has thrown at me, I made it as far as I did. I'm also proud that I decided to speak up about all the people who have hurt me in my life and potentially I've protected somebody from being hurt in the same way.

Ironically I'd be proud of the number of people's lives I've made better working / volunteering for charities, NHS, universities, samaritans... Yes that last one is the ultimate LOL.I'm proud of how over the years built my mind for memory and some calculations + friendshipsI think I would be proud for trying to be good person. I can't say that I'm actually am good, I still make a lot of mistakes but I'm trying to do my best. I'm proud that I quit many bad habits and put a lot of work in my recovery.Last edited:

I have protected creatures on earth. Every time there is a spider in my room. I remove it with paper out the window. Same with snails. I see them in unusual unnatural spots and I move them to better places.
