Discussion If you could go back to your younger self, would you want them to ctb to help yourself now?

Probably not. While a lot of pain and suffering would've been prevented, if I killed myself young, I would never have truly learnt that what I did was wrong, and so many of the things I learnt now would never have happened. It's better now that I kill myself with my current knowledge and mindset than if I killed myself when I was younger and had barely, although the thought is nice to think about.

yes, yes, yes, yes. at least try something with a higher success chance because my attempts as a kid ended at most in being in the hospital and then beaten when back home. i shouldn't have accepted help when i ran away from home. should have starved and died on the streets. it wouldn't have gotten worse. i wouldn't be in more pain.

I grew up in a country where I had easier access to guns so if my younger self knew what he'd have to go through when he's older he'd have a much easier way of leaving the world compared to now.

Don't these people realize the emotional pain they cause when they stop" unintentionally"off course they don't know the person is contemplating suicide" the person from suicide. They were never in a position where their life got disturbed in anyway -they don't understand the terror of things slipping out their hands.

Yes, I wish I'd've killed myself at 18; but doing it now, on my 30's, is a matture decision, no one can say that I didn't try make things better :)
