I currently live with my parents and they are on vacation for the next 2 weeks and i plan on using the SN method within that time frame. The problem is i dont want my parents to find my dead body when they come back. Should i leave a note to a neighbour in their letterbox at night right before i ctb that i killed myself and that it would be nice if they could call the police to get rid of my body? Is it bad to drag my neighbours into this? Is it possible to do it in an open spot so i dont have to do it at home where my parents could find me? I dont know how to go about this honestly

Try and book a private room at a hotel or airbnb etc near your house and have a note with your personal details so the police can contact your parents.
I personally would not want to traumatise anyone in my house as they will still have to live there after you die.
I wish that you weren't in this position.

As far as where to do it and the possibility of your parents finding you - I don't know what your financial situation is but it would be best if you could rent a hotel room for the night or find a place where your parents will not find you.
I'm sure you know that they will be dealing the aftereffects of your death or else you would not have asked this question and obviously you don't want to put them through finding you when they come home.
If you feel that your decision is final find a place outside of your home to do this. Even if you need to sell off something that you own in order to get the money to rent a room for the night.
