• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Motherfucker, we're gonna die some day anyway, so what's the problem with me speeding things up? Then they're like:

"No, no, you can't do that. You need to stay until I say it's ok for you to go."

Like, goddamn you selfish Mother Theresa 2.0, you shouldn't be the one to decide when I stay or go. That's my call. Unless you're my child, I'm not obligated to live for you.

No one decides when it's your time but you.

Family don't want us to ctb because we're "being selfish" or not "thinking about those we will leave behind"....

The government doesn't want us to ctb because they can't collect taxes from the dead.

Good Samaritans don't want us to ctb because it makes them look like a hero.

Holy fuck, we ain't allowed to do anything.... What am I gonna do, sit in front of my TV and masturbate all day?

They can all fuck right off.

Funny how the current world operates on full unadulterated selfishness, individualism and zero compassion up until the point someone is fully broken down then it flips the script on them and starts acting like it values duty and responsibility or something.

But doesn't that really mean thinking only of oneself, rather than others? Just a thought.

If you go through with it and it works, then for you, of course, it's all over—you're seemingly free of all problems and have found peace.

But the others—parents, friends, whoever finds you—they're the ones left dealing with the authorities, the funeral, notifying employers, and so on. And then, of course, there's the grief.

If you flip the perspective: what would we say to someone we care about—or a family member—if *we* were the ones to find someone else dead?

It's really difficult.

Sure, it would be much easier if everyone in the world fully accepted death—including self-determined death—and if you could simply say so, clear out your apartment, get everything in order, and then just proceed with the means to end it.

It becomes an issue when they try to "save"them. There are so many countries that committed genocide wiping out whole classes and groups that it becomes so funny to hear about any anti pro choice agenda.

Just summed up my life. It was always:

"The world doesn't owe you"

"Pull yourself up by your bootstraps."

"You're 18 now. Either get a job, or get out."

Then when you want to ctb, it's all:

"Noooo, the world would miss you."

"The world is better with you in it."

Like, yeah, no. Fool me once shame on me. You're not fooling me twice.

Thinking of myself in a world where sociopaths and narcissists rule in a system designed to extract the most amount of money possible from people? Fine with me. I used to be a bubbly happy-go-lucky person who feared stepping on toes. That me is long gone, now. I hate being here.

My parents, friends, and whoever finds me? Firstly, my parents can kiss my ass. They're the exact types of sociopaths and narcissists I hate. Second, I don't have friends. I merely lie to others, because human beings are a tribalistic species, and I have to have the appearance of fitting into multiple different tribes in order to not be treated like shit. Only here do I not have to mask my real thoughts. Third, I couldn't care less whoever finds me. I'm done with being guilt-tripped into staying, but being told the world is harsh, cruel, and owes me nothing. Fine, I accept he fact the world doesn't owe me, which is why I want the world to accept the fact I don't owe it my continued existence.

If I found one of my family members dead from ctb, I would not be surprised in the slightest.
