Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

me getting a brain injury back in 2016 caused by headphones damaged both my ears and brain, this has turned my life into a living hell every day i have to go through
the emotions of being debilitated unable to be functional, i've not brushed my teeth for years and i only have a bath once every six months before this i would shower
every few days and brush my teeth regular, nobody ever tells me you could be debilitated and receive a brain injury from listening to music
and these lives don't come with a manual so how was i meant to know that listening to music with headphones on 24/7 would result in me losing my self control and ability to work
i've been living with this condition for 8 long years ever since turning 30 with no rest bit everyday is constant struggle of trying to feel comfortable with my own skin
i take weed to help me regulate my mood without it i'm deeply moody and suicidal become dependent on it to even feel somewhat normal

what todo when your trapped and live in hell?

Omg how on earth? I didn't know that could happen. I knew it could damage hearing but not your brain. Idk what the answer is. Is there no official help available- occupational therapists or trained therapists? Why does life have to be so cruel to the best people while the greedy and selfish sail through without a care. Sorry that's not helpful to you is it. I'm glad weed helps though. Maybe someone on here can suggest something else that could help. We're a big group after all. xxx

I relate. I always dealt with bad depression since I was a kid but it became so much worse after my stroke at 29 around 7 years ago. The brain is complex nobody knows how to treat it

It's surprising, isn't it? Most people don't realize that intense or prolonged headphone use could potentially lead to something as severe as a brain injury, especially when most discussions focus on hearing loss. It's hard to fathom that something as simple as enjoying music could turn life upside down like this. And you're right—it's incredibly frustrating that life often seems so unfair, with good people struggling while those who act selfishly seem to thrive.

The struggle of not having official, specialized support readily available is real, and it adds to the feelings of isolation. While there are professionals like occupational therapists, neurologists, and mental health therapists who might be able to help, access to them or finding the right fit can be challenging.
