I know you didn't ask me and I am not answering for Suez.
I sincerely feel that if this is true, the food that OP ingested (And potentially the liquid amount) is what caused the failure. These things have been shown and proven to affect the outcome of SN poisoning.

Eating may have been a factor. The dosage was small: roughly 25 g of SN in 340 ml of water. Assuming good mixing, dosage was around 0.4 g.

I'm taking SN on Friday and the thought of my last moments being agonizing has me terrified. I'm doing it one way or another, it's the more peaceful way I could access, but oh my god, I hope this isn't true, OP, I'm freaking out a bit.

He said three spoonfuls. Are we talking teaspoon or tablespoon? Heaping or leveled? Could be more or even way more than 25g.. guessing it was more

Sounds like he mixed 3tsp = 25g of SN into (I'm assuming) 12oz = 340ml of water. He then sipped around a 1tsp = 5ml of the solution. That works out to a dose of around 0.4g.

Edit: If you look at my earlier post that he responded to, I ask if he took 3tsp and he doesn't correct me , but he may have overlooked that...

I have meto and I'm going to follow Stan's guide closely. I won't eat for 24 hours beforehand, either.

If I double the dose is it more likely to work faster? Or would that just give me a severe reaction? (feel free to redirect me elsewhere, sorry to be so inquisitive. I have a solid plan and am prepared but feel a bit thrown off right now.)

Well, once I get SN my plan would be: Fast 8-hours, take AD, drink 25g in 50ml and hope that switch turns off in 20min. If it would take 1-2hr, then Im goin to hospital...

Now I need to seriously rethink SN as my method. The only thing that gave me any solace was knowing I could die at the time of my choosing in a relatively peaceful way. I don't like the idea of the OP screaming for help. Now I'll either have to go with partial or CO, but I'm not good with anything technical.

OK, so dosage might have been around 0.6g or so, let's say.

Before you make any final decisions the PPH and PN has handed out phones to his members so they can record the full SN experience from start until ctb and I'm sure we will get to hear and see the reports in updates and podcasts but there has been a few reports from PN and they were really peaceful and quick. But you may need SN, Antiemetic, Antacid, Beta Blockers, Pain killers, Sedatives,

What would be really useful if the PPH published the regime they followed so we can judge the peacefulness and time it takes to ctb.

Cheers

Geo

This is what I expected. Others have covered the OP is faking, so i will give the benefit of the doubt and assume OP is veracious and that the description of blue fingers not related to the pictures that just happened to be posted just yesterday.

many of the symptoms you described are consistent with a panic attack. These can frequently mimic symptoms of a heart attack, or cause severe stomach pain. The shortness of breath, racing heart, feeling weird, stomach hurting, etc. You described extreme pain and linked it to overconsumption of alcohol.

Certainly not to put words in your mouth, but most literature or reference books might better describe ethanol toxicity as very distressful or uncomfortable, but not "painful." your description sounds like a feedback loop of actual SN symptoms, greatly magnified by a panic attack. You were in distress from a breakup.

trying to back out how much SN consumed will be difficult, as heaping spoonfuls of what you posted could potentially mean much more than 25g were added to a still indeterminate amount Of liquid. OP could have consumed a gram or a few. I have no idea at the amount of water added, as that has changed. Coffee cups can GREATLY vary in size around the world.

What does this mean for SN in general? It's a data point, one among many. Looking at the failures or even successes google doc, not everyone goes peacefully into the night. Suicide is stressful, period. Certain symptoms can be viewed as extremely distressful (e.g. nausea to someone who suffers from chronic vertigo or the panic some feel at even the thought of an exit bag placed over their head) to some but not as much so for others. Likewise, panic and anxiety from suicide, especially in an individual in crisis, can greatly magnify and distort perceptions.

This is a confirmed documented SN ctb

Member fasted for approx 8 hours
Member was on seroquel daily so didn't take AE.
They also did not have antacids.
Member took 1 mg Xanax 1 hour prior
Member had 800mg propanolol and and mixed it with 25g SN in approx 50-75ml water.

6:13 drank SN + propanolol
6:17 said they were laying down.
6:18 said nausea.
6:19 said sweating
6:21 said profusely sweating and dizzy.
6:22 said heart rate was normal
6:27 said lying on wooden floor
No further communication

I think it's at least useful for the fact that tachycardia was not present at all using propanolol.

No complaint of taste or burning throat.

Is the only way to get propranolol from your doctor? What could you say to get your doctor to prescribe that?

Honestly guys, stop attacking the OP. You can't know fore sure 100% if the OP is saying the truth or not, so there's no point in arguing. If you don't believe and want to voice your concerns for others doubting like you, then post it once calmly stating why you don't believe this and move on. There's no need to attack the OP and make them feel vast out from this community. I would expect people in our place to know better, and to know what it feels like to be attacked and singled out and ostracized. Can you imagine just for a moment that the OP is saying the truth, because of whatever reason it's the truth, maybe it's the way their body works, maybe it was something they ate that day that reacted this way with SN, maybe it was a special type of SN that's too strong, maybe the OP took more than realized itself or some other reason. And now they are getting all this hate. When they just wanted to share their experience and maybe help someone here. Must feel fucking horrible, I know I would feel horrible right now on their place. So think about others and about how many variables there could be here and in the end about how it doesn't matter at all because nothing is worth attacking someone like that and ostracizing them like this. Be kind, please. There's too much of other people in the world that push us away and make us feel lonely for us to be doing this to each other.

Im sorry, OP @Mustkeyknow you don't deserve this treatment, I don't believe you do. I love you, and thank you for sharing your experience!

Love,
—Alec.

I'll have to be on the lookout for that. Unfortunately my psychiatrist won't prescribe me sedatives, so I won't have any luck having a peaceful end.

What one could say to a doctor is that they have anxiety and don't want to risk a benzo addiction. It's also used to treat basic essential tremors, so one can claim that by saying their hands shake off and on for no reason, not like low blood sugar when one hasn't eaten.

Not that this helps you, but may help OP and others, in Mexico one can buy it at a pharmacy without a prescription. Maybe not all pharmacies, but when I stockpiled, I bought it from three different ones with no request for a prescription. Same with meto and calcium channel blockers. Benzos, no, they require a prescription.
