I just wish I could write them a letter saying I've fucked off to Portugal or something to start a new life and have them accept that as true while I die anonymously in some remote forest, but I've probably already given too many warning signs for them to take it as anything other than a veiled suicide note.

Gotta say I had the exact same idea, althought not in Portugal.

It's hard because if we're honest... they'll end up knowing, it's a matter of time.

That is the exact reason why I'm alive. If someone has to suffer... better be me.

I wish I could just, de-exist.
I am so tired of being afraid for those I will leave behind. I care about them greatly, especially my best friend.
This is the only reason I keep going on. Not hurting others. I deserve the suffering tho.

It's understandable not wanting family to know the truth, but still it isn't like once you are gone you will be able to care about this. Whatever happens in this world could never be our concern at that point and anyway we all have to die someday, losing people is a part of life.
