I really reallyyy wish I had someone who I can ctb with. But at the end of the day I have no one I have 0 friends, I just spent all day rotting away in my room. it's been like that for years, I can't wait to die

Sorry you're feeling lonely. Even if you had friends they could not be by your side as suicide is not legalized, it's possible you wouldn't even disclose your plans in order to protect them. The less people you're close with, the less pain your death will cause - that's why many choose to distance themselves before they ctb. If you mean that good of a friend who'd want to ctb with you, then it's quite rare, most people on here die alone.

There are very very few people who would have such a connection that they could peacefully take their own life next to their bonded other. It simply would require the person to be so sure and so empathetic that they would be willing to see you go. Not to mention their presence might inspire guilt within you and make the process that much harder.

Maybe I'm coping, but I genuinely feel it's best for me to die alone. The goal ultimately is to minimize suffering, for myself, and especially for others.

Regardless I find that notion of peace comforting. Similar to how it's harder to relax in loud noise I feel it's much calmer and serene to go through with it alone. There's a lulling peace in emptiness.

Whatever the case I'm sorry for what you're going through. I hope nothing for the best.

That's tragic to hear. Humans are born social creatures, yet some aren't born for socialize. I'm sorry that life treated you this way. Well, at least you're not gonna be alone for feeling lonely. I hope the thought of that is comforting in any ways.

I do get that loneliness can be painful for many people but after all you cannot trust and rely on other people, other people can very often just make things worse and create more suffering, so to me it's for the best to be alone. But anyway I wish you the best.

I have a really close friend I could ctb with, but I don't think he's truly ready for death, and if I don't put that on him I'm sure he'll live a long life... Well, as long as he can before he ends up in prison a serial killer... He's schizo and I'm sure he'll end up one some day, lucky it's just been animals so far, and he wasn't very good at not getting caught.
