Yesterday, I attempted partial hanging and went through with it. I felt my life draining and I don't remember anything past 10 seconds and everything went black. Then I woke up on the floor because the bowline know attached to my doorknob became unraveled and I fell.

I feel so fucking clueless. The one time I went through with killing myself, the universe went against it.

If it's ok to ask, what did you feel exactly, what symptoms when you felt your life draining?

We attempted partial back in December with neckties. We attempted for over 2 hours and every time we recovered it felt like only 10 seconds had passed. Hope you find your peace, be well on your journey.

I imagine it must be so dreadful what you went through, trying to die going wrong is exactly what I fear, I find it so incredibly cruel how we cannot just have the option to die in a more peaceful and guaranteed way. Out of curiosity where did you place the noose?
Can I also ask whether you experienced pain or ear ringing etc in the 10secs?

1.) I hung it up on a doorknob which was about 1 meter above the ground
2.) No, basically no pain whatsoever. The only things that I experienced was my vision growing blurry and a wave of weakness.

Yes, exactly like that. I really don't remember the time when It all went black. I just woke on the floor.

During this time, you could very likely become disabled! Please be careful, think through everything as accurately as possible, check the knots, pull the ropes hard and hang on the rope with your whole body to see if the rope breaks, if the rope unties, if the door handle falls off.

When I say: hang on the rope with your whole body, I do not mean your neck, but that you hold on to the rope with your hands in order to test it first, not to wind the rope around your neck

Yeah, it was dumb of me. I tied the not a while ago and hadn't though of the wear and tear the knot must've been through when constantly closing and opening the door.
