I swear my mom is trying to get under my skin since she knows I voted dem. She knows I hate Trump. I sent her a message and she responded with this:
"Sweet girl, you are worrying unnecessarily about all these things! Social media is full of lies, network news is not trustworthy, the dems want to stir up innocent people because they are so furious they lost. So all the truth is being tarnished by the spin and rhetoric. I would love to have a long and candid conversation about all this but I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable. But please believe me, our benefits are not in jeopardy, and tough but wonderful things are happening to make our country safer. You truly have no need to fear anything. Now the criminals that have been pouring across the open borders are starting to be located and deported, things that have been done illegally for years are being stopped. I could go on but I just ask you to be calm and not worry. If you have any questions at all please please we invite you to ask us anything! And we promise to always tell you the truth. Our country has been virtually dismantled but now people are starting to breathe easier. But there is no threat of martial law or anything wild."
I can't believe I used to think she was truly intelligent and good. Fucking nazi scum. I have nobody else I can talk about this shit with so hopefully venting this here is ok... Seems like I get the urge to self harm every time I talk with her these days. I used to wonder why, now it's obvious. She dismisses every single concern of mine like nothing I say matters. I fucking hate her.
