  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've been trying to do full suspension hanging but whenever I attempt it survival instinct kicks in and get scared. I should just kick the chair away but I'm scared it won't work and I'll just be left hanging there not being able to do anything. I'm also worried that my partner will come home and find me hanging there because I'm hanging myself at his house because it's the only place I can do it. If he found me he would take my key away. Are there any tricks you can use to help yourself get over survival instinct or is kicking the chair the only way.

Could you reconsider doing this at your partners house? I came home to find my spouse dead on the floor a few years ago (not suicide) and it traumatized me so bad and is the primary reason that I am now suicidal.

You can find a forest with trees, an abandoned building, a hotel room, near train tracks with trees nearby where no one goes, deep in the woods, near power lines near a highway. Don't let him find your body and scar him.

Finding his partners body like this will give him ptsd. Yes kicking the chair is the only way as it sounds like you want to live. Maybe consider trying other ways to get through your pain. Some of us are dead set on going because we're in immense pain daily.

You can also use Google maps to search near your area for a sparse area with trees or no structures.

I only have to think about my life to want to go. Best of luck.

I am planning to take a huge amount of benzos to ease the survival instinct.

You should never preclude yourself from interrupting the operation. I understand the fear, but if you have been through so many bad things in your life that you are thinking about committing suicide, do not use violence until the last minute by even kicking the chair. Leave a footrest, then you will decide whether to climb on it or let yourself go to death. You will feel the rope tightening around your neck with all the weight of your body and you will understand only in that moment whether you can bear this or not. It is important to have full control of the situation.

You don't overcome the survival instinct, you embrace it.
