Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hello, I'm new here. I'm planning to attempt to ctb tonight via partial hanging since I don't have anything I can fully suspend from. I'm gonna be using metal wire while wearing a turtle neck so it digs into my neck skin less, although I've only ever heard of rope or cloth being used so not sure if this will effect my results but it's the only thing I have on hand right now. When I tried it today, all I got was the intense pressure in my head feeling + slight facial numbness and tingling. I think this is a sign I'm doing it wrong since I heard you're supposed to pass out in 10-20 seconds? And I'm aware of the brain damage risks if I were to be cut down and saved after falling unconscious but since being caught will not be a concern, will I get brain damage if I'm unlucky and happen to fall out of the suspension or into a wrong angle while unconscious? If I manage to get to the point where I pass out is it guaranteed that I will die if I'm left alone in the next hour or am I still receiving oxygen if I were to fall limp into a bad position and eventually wake up? How exactly does this method fail outside of being found and saved? I apologize for the barrage of questions but I'm deathly afraid of surviving with severe brain damage, lowering my quality of life even further. I'm also a very thin female (74 lb) so I'm afraid my weight won't be enough to apply the right amount of pressure. Thank you all.

Honestly this seems really risky to me. It depends upon the wire and how malleable it is..and if it's straight or like wavy..there could be so many factors..With only part of the body weight suspended, if the part of the wire doesn't wrap around the neck tightly enough, it could cause a trickle of blood flow still to go through to the brain, not to mention how painfully excruciating it would be with the thin wire cutting into the skin (not sure how much the turtle neck would help against this) and also how extended and slow TOD could be..

I remember reading a story about hitler ordering the execution one of his generals with a piano wire. I can't imagine what you must be going through in life to even be considering something like this?

This probably won't work. von Witzleben was strangled with a thin rope, not a piano wire. The thin piano wire will probably either snap or cut into your neck, damaging your windpipe and causing severe pain that will make your SI kick in. It is usually a good idea to use thicker ropes, so that the pressure is distributed more evenly and so that your carotid artery can be compressed without you feeling too much pain,
