Nitrogen suffocation feeling, how do I overcome it. I'm trying to get to the point of almost passing out by breathing from the exit bag scrunched up/deflated etc. However it feels horrible. My chest is tight. I just want to die. I'm planning on doing a timer delay that opens the nitrogen tank after a certain amount of time when I'm asleep with the exit bag via a DIY method. I will be breathing normal oxygen supplied through the exit bag via a 15L large scuba tank. Otherwise should I try a different gas. Is it less so suffocating with argon or helium. Helium will be very difficult to get in Australia.

I've never heard of nitrogen suffocation sensation. I'm having a bit of difficulty understanding what exactly you're doing right now. Is this some kind of practice? You're using a bag and breathing O2 coming in the bag (for practice), while exhaling CO2 back into the bag? Is that what you're doing?

It could just likely be a psychological response to knowing you're not actually breathing in pure oxygen producing a state of panic.

From what I hear, Nitrogen exit is supposed to be painless and euphoric since it's an Inert Gas and does not react inside your body, nor does your body have any Nitrogen receptors.
I've also heard that depending on how the bag is lowered onto your head it could either be painless or you could feel like your head is blowing up.
