Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If I was trying to CTB in a hotel room, and lied to everyone about where I was going, would police immediately be able to access my spending history or would it take them time?
if no one knew you was missing then police would not search for you unless you was reported. but if reported and you was to CBT then i'd imagine a full investigation would be carried out so all your accounts and tech would be searched, in which case if you was to CBt then make sure all accounts and data is wiped

yes and no, unless accessed physically then no but if 50 get hold of them my hand then yes. they can download all data so my advice is before anyone wishes to CBT then either wipe your devices or even better destroy them. i mean if your gone then they won't be any use to you i guess
I think in the US, if you are reported missing by someone who knows you have thoughts about ctb, the police could probably access your credit card or banking data pretty easily to try to locate you. I don't have firsthand knowledge of this, tho.
If reported missing, I would be prioritised and classed as high risk due to being classed as having mental health issues... maybe the best way is to come up with an excuse to go away, but give my family a different location to stall the authorities when they become worried due to me not answering my phone and stuff.
I don't know what country you are in but here in the UK hardly any crimes even get solved. The police here ain't going to waste time getting warrants for bank records to find a hotel for someone suicidal.
All they'd do is taxi you to A&E who would dump you outside after 6 hours anyway.

I've spent nearly a year of my life in institutions, so there's no way an A&E would dump me outside after 6 hours. I just got out of being hospitalised for nearly 2 months, so I need to be really careful that nobody finds me mid attempt. I would definitely be kept inside for a substantial stay. I do agree that the police don't do their job, they encouraged me to drop rape charges. They're a disappointment.
if you dont tell anyone that you are going to ctb in that hotel the police wont bother.
if you tell someone and they tell the police about your plans they will be able to track you down by using either you credit card history or your sim card in your phone.
doesnt matter if apple or android they just call up your isp or whatever you call it and they will provide your location to the police.
my advise would be to either dont take the phone with you or keep it turned off or remove the sim card, depending on if you want to use it or not obviously

Police won't usually start looking for an adult who has been reported missing for at least 24 hours. Most adults who are reported missing turn up quickly. If loved ones didn't report you missing no one would be looking for you. Can you say you will be staying with a friend or you are taking a short trip?

All phones can be tracked by cell phone towers unless they are turned off.
Unfortunately hotels don't take prepaid credit cards. At least in my experience they don't.
I'm hoping I'll be able to say that I'm taking a short trip, but because I've been unstable recently they might be suspicious and try to stop me. I've found a room that I can book equipped with "accessible" features to make sure there's a strong ligature point, but there's a lot of other stuff to figure out.
I was watching something that was talking about "pinging" phones for their location..
I suppose I'll have to book the hotel normally and then just pick the opportune moment to try partial. I'll have to take something to wear in case the attempt doesn't work, to hide all the marks on my neck.

I would try to pretend like you are feeling better and happy and say a friend invited you somewhere. I don't know your specific circumstances but that's what I would try. I'm so sorry you are in such anguish. Police can track phones by which cell phone tower they are pinging from but only if they are turned on. I think in the US the police need a warrant to track a credit card. You could even pick up an inexpensive door jammer to prevent someone from opening the door to the hotel room you are in. Are you taking any type of medication or alcohol with the partial hanging? Hoping you are able to find peace.
Sorry for misunderstanding. Yes. That's correct. Why would someone be worried about their phone being unlocked if they were gone? Sorry if that's a stupid question. I have an android phone and plan on doing a factory reset or deleting information I don't want anyone to read before I ctb.

They know how limited my social life is, I lost all of my friends apart from one after being institutionalised and I would feel bad if she felt guilty for covering for me and then found out why I'd asked her to. I do usually travel around a bit though, so I'm thinking of saying I want to go away for a few days, then tell them I'm going to a different city from the actual one I'm going to. Thank you. I hadn't heard of door jammers, I've been incessantly reading about different hangings and some things seem to say alcohol was in their system. I would also consider taking the pullup bar for full suspension in case partial doesn't work, but I think it's too bulky and would draw attention. I hope so too, it will take a lot more research. At the moment I'm just researching whatever I can in relation to this, but there don't seem to be many patterns.
police will not search until after 48 hours in the US. However if there is proof and not just on the say so of your family (like documented attempts) they can start looking sooner. Also turn off your location on your phone and use cash for the hotel if you can. The hotel I'm going to ctb at, is 6 hours from the one I told my friends where I will be

Do you think they would feel like they have to touch base with your friend? I have no social life as well but if I told my parents I was going out of town with a friend they wouldn't check with the friend to make sure I was telling the truth. But everyone's family is different. Yes. You can buy a door jammer for under $20. I'd get one if I chose to ctb in a hotel to give myself more time and to make sure no one came in. Assisted pull up bars should fit in a suitcase fairly easily. I used to have one. They do take some time to install though. I am thinking about doing partial as well and I have some prescription medications that I would take to hopefully make it easier and perhaps some alcohol. Although I've never drank alcohol and don't know how it would make me feel. I recently came across a book about asphyxiation and it had some good ideas I hadn't thought of. Some people used their car seat and tied rope around their neck and to the head rest. Some tied rope around their neck and to the car head rest and to a tree. I might try that in a rural area.

I've also had these worries, I can't ctb at home as I live with others, would need to be at a hotel and I plan on going somewhere in UK I haven't been, a peaceful location. Unfortunately my family know how severely down I am & if I went away I think they'll be very suspicious. If they did report anything would police track my phone or debit card in UK?
I would like to not rush and have a 3-4 days enjoying spending my savings then ctb

May I ask what method you are planning to use in the hotel?
Possibly... I also feel my family would check my post at the moment, maybe I can set up a PO box. I've wondered about using forest area, but I feel less likely to be interrupted in a hotel.

I don't know what country you are in but in the US you can ask the post office to hold on to your mail for a requested amount of time. Most people do that if they will be going on vacation. I don't know if you could do that. Or a P.O. box is a good idea too.

I don't know the police policies in the UK. In the US they don't take a missing person report for 24 to 48 hours for an adult. I don't think they can track your phone if it's off.
