If I lie about my medication history will my psychiatrist know

I don't have a long history of psychiatry because my mother never cared to take me, the only time I've ever been medicated was after my suicide attempts. I've never had a psychiatrist. Do they know if you're lying about your medication/medical history? I just want to get prescribed benzos for my SN protocol. If it makes any difference I'm using a telehealth service that's able to prescribe controlled substances
