What was the deodorant supposed to do1. Different method than what I'd try now, but it got me scary close.
Filled an empty bag with deodorant, emptied my lungs, put the bag over my head and tied a cord around my neck. After about 20s or so my whole body was numb and warm, and everything felt distant. That feeling scared me so I ripped the bag off. Smelling that deodorant always reminds me of that now.
I feel the same way, I wish I had such a reliable method avalible and ready for use, I would definitely take advantage of it.I had zero failed attempts simply because I did not attempt suicide at all. This is because I know my method and also the circumstances in which I would commit suicide hasn't happened yet. I have gotten close to wanting to attempt it at times such as having a plan, method, and date (in the past), but never acted on them since I haven't reached that breaking point yet. Finally, given my method (firearm via shotgun), there is no just 'attempting' because you only have one attempt and if you fail it, you may never get another chance again (you end up as a vegetable and/or sectioned without the ability nor means to try again at a later date).
Deodorant doesn't contain oxygen, so you'd be breathing a gas without oxygen and you'd asphyxiate. It's a similar method to using an exit bag, but deodorant isn't as pleasant to breathe. If you google it, lots of people have died like this by accident before, by having too much sprayed in enclosed spaces for example. What was the deodorant supposed to do
how many people have died by deodorant??Deodorant doesn't contain oxygen, so you'd be breathing a gas without oxygen and you'd asphyxiate. No idea, but I got at least 7 from the first page when googling "Death by deodorant"how many people have died by deodorant??
Did you fail at full suspension?Three attempts (hanging and two seperate occassions of playing Russian roulette) and three aborted attempts (another hanging, poison gas, and inert gas) at the last moment.
same hereToo many I literally don't know. 1st time I think I was like 9 or 10.
What happened for you when did Amitriptyline cocktail?Too many to keep track of and remember. 4 attempts that required going to the ER (which were the only ones that were serious): benzo/opiate overdose, slitting my wrists, Acetaminophen/alcohol overdose, and Amitriptyline cocktail.

ThanksYou can read about it here, sorry it's quite long: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/chloroquine-100mg-diazepam.14826/post-287820

You swallowed 8 grams of amitryptiline? That is like 800 pills of 10mg. And a bottle of vodka. And that was all in your blood chemistry supplying your heart, brain and organs. This is X files. No if I OD I am not gonna do it in home or hotel. I am going to open a tent in a forest, and OD there, so there are only wolves and bears that can find me.
I am really sorry for you. Thanks for sharing your expirience. Don't lose hope. Body is incredibly resiliant. It just doesn't wanna go.
That was creativeLast year I tied a bunch of scarfs to my face to try and suffocate myself. It was either that or climb inside the freezer.
No, it was with a belt noose at partial suspension. It was tied poorly, and after a few seconds of hanging, it came undone. No permanent or noticible injuries, but that brief taste of pain, yeah no. Hanging ain't my way to go.Did you fail at full suspension?
