How long to wait SN, delayed email?

I'm going to send a delayed email to my apartment property manager after I CTB with SN. How long should I set the delayed email for after the time I take SN? I was thinking at least 24 hours, but it seems like it could be less if most people die after 1-4 hours, possibly as much as 8 hours. I'd like to be as courteous as possible about the stink and mess.

I would say 12 hours just to be sure.

If you want to take into account all type of scenarios (just for the peace of mind...), I'd say at least 20 h...

Seems like a dodgy thing to search for online too. I don't want authorities thinking I plan to murder someone! I'm sure searches like that raise red flags.

Reckon I will lay down lots of thick plastic, put up warning signs on what to expect and turn the heating off to try and reduce the mess.

I woke up about twelve hours later after my attempt. So I would suggest around 18-24 hours. I know for me that the last thing I would want is for someone to receive a message from me with those kind of details if the attempt wasn't successful.

As I always do, I find it humbling that someone going through such pain could take the time to be so considerate of others. I wish you the best, whatever you decide to do.

24 hours sounds good, seems to be the consensus here. I think the body starts to really stink after that time frame from death. Thank you everyone.

I agree about the plastic, I was thinking the same. Probably wear as little clothing as possible and have plastic covering my recliner, most of the mess should collect under me and be contained by the reclining posture of the chair. Fun stuff

I consider ordering a body bag actually. It should feel kinda morbid to order that for oneself, but for some reason I find some humour in it too heh heh
